Great lunch pizza buffet, way better pizza than the other chains. When the older lady is running the place its a well oiled machine, it's always a treat to have lunch, when she is there, always puts customers first.
Throw back to double Dave's pizza at ATM in the late 80s with the buffet, pizza rolls and rustic atmosphere. I.placed an order for pizza rolls one morning right when they open at 11 am, order was ready in 10 minutes
I got there a bit after 2, so I was too late for the pizza buffet. Even as it was about to shut down, it was still well stocked. My fam loves their pizza rolls as they are fair priced, nice size, and considtenly good. It is a far drive from us as closer locations have been closed down. But worth the drive as a treat occassionally. The young lady that checked me out was very professional and helpful. She took time to write down the buffet hours and prices for me. Great service and appreciated. They hire special needs associates. I was pleased to see that. I recommend. Avoid when school lets out though. It's across the street and traffic can be a mess at that time.
This DoubleDave’s did not disappoint!! I can’t say we drove down this time from DFW specifically for this pizza place, but I’m glad we stopped here for dinner! Very friendly staff. Pizza was always hot and fresh and they made any pizza we requested. The salad bar was also clean and stocked. We’ll come back when we come back to Houston!
Came in right before closing so I was the only person here. Staff was very friendly and made a darn good pizza. Atmosphere is cozy, and seems like it would be fun during the day when more people are here. When I showed up they had no beer, but I don’t hold that against them as it was RIGHT before closing. Looking forward to coming back during the day soon. I’d recommend the beer brat pizza if they still have it, as it tasted excellent.
Great pizza spot. First time here, and the owner introduced herself and made all new pizza buffet specifically for my family. She is so cheerful and such a delight. Honestly, It made my day to see how proud she was of her restaurant. She filled the buffet full of various pizzas, stepped back, and said, " Isn't it beautiful ?".
Our first time here, and we sure did enjoy it. The owner and the staff are so friendly. She even helped my kids serve themselves desserts. We ordered our own pizza and it was delicious. We have enjoyed our dinner and our kids enjoyed it as well. The owner has such a nice personality.
This was a large pickup order for a party. As in: 3 dozen pepperoni rolls, philly stromboli, two cookie cakes and enough ranch dressing to bathe in. They threw in a bonus S'mores cake which was unexpected. Waited an extra 5 mins than pickup time but that's understandable. The employee checked with me that everything was there and was courteous, as was the person at the counter. Party members enjoyed the food
